How old do I have to be ?
You must be age 8 or over.

Do I need to be able to swim ?
Everyone who takes part in any activities must be able to swim (water confident).

Do you teach beginners ?
Yes, we teach people of all abilities depending on their needs.

What do I need to bring with me ?
Swimming costume
Old tracksuit etc. ( for the winter )
T-shirt and shorts. ( for the Summer )
Trainers or wetsuit boots ( no open toe sandals or flip-flops )
Wetsuit ( optional )
Towel

The Centre will provide the following :-
Buoyancy aid.
Windproof cag.
Wetsuit*
Helmet

* Wetsuits will only be provided for Sailing & Windsurfing, only in exceptional circumstances will we issue wetsuit for kayaking or Canoeing.

Is there any charge for equipment  ?
The is no charge for equipment, the price per hour you pay includes tuition and usage of equipment.

Are there changing & shower facilities ?
Yes there are changing and shower facilities with lockers to store you personal belongings,they cost 20p.

Can I hire a boat and go out on my own ? 
Not yet,we are looking into this.

Can people with disabilities participate in activities ?
Yes, people with disabilities can take part in most activities depending on the individual needs, please advise Centre staff of individuals needs when making a booking.

Do you have catering facilities ?
Yes in the coffee bar
